Northwoods is located east of West Branch off Peters
Road. From Lansing, you can get to the camp either by heading North
on U.S. 127 to M-55 or by heading North to Flint on I-69 and then North
to camp on I-75 to M-33 to M-55. Turn North onto Henderson Lake Road
and then East on Peters Road until it ends.
Request for Central Registry Clearance
State of Michigan
All adults over the age of 18 who set foot on Northwoods Scout Reservation
(FOR SUMMER CAMP ONLY) are required to have clearance from the State of
Michigan. This is a state law. Please print this form
out, fill it out and send it (or hand-deliver it) with a copy
of your driver's license to your local Department of Human Services
office. For help in finding the address of your county DHS office, click
here.
When you are filling out the form, please have them mail the clearance/results
to the address below.

blob
(must be a swimmer to use), row boats, handicrafts, a nature hike, snakes
to hold,
water critters to see, knots to tie, pioneering projects to play on, fish
to catch, cobblers
to make and eat, a Saturday night campfire and much more!
